Knowing a trade is more than knowing how to build something—it is knowledge that can change the direction of someone’s life.

The Removing Negativity Network is calling on trades professionals, contractors, technicians, operators, and experienced craftspeople to become part of BUILD WITH US.

Teach Skills Through Real Community Projects

Our model brings experienced people together with youth and community participants for supervised, hands-on exposure to real skilled trades: concrete, agriculture, HVAC, electrical, drywall, carpentry, demolition, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, heavy equipment, automotive/diesel, and renewable energy.

Instead of teaching everything from a textbook, we want participants learning through real community-building projects. We’re beginning with projects such as small sheds and garden boxes for donation and building toward larger projects as the program develops.

Build Something That Gives Back

Completed housing can support charitable housing efforts or, where legally appropriate, help generate resources that go back into youth initiatives—including books, maps and educational materials, shoes, clothing, food, tools, transportation, and future projects.

You don’t have to donate hundreds of hours. A professional willing to demonstrate a skill, supervise a project, mentor a participant, provide materials, or help plan a build can make an impact.
